1 October 2005
The new $700 million Spencer Street Station development will take up the space of three city blocks, provide a dramatic new gateway to Docklands and create a user-friendly, airport-style facility that will be comfortable, convenient and safe for passengers.

BRI has been selected by the Spencer Street Station Authority to provide specialist risk management consultancy services for the project.
"I am very pleased we were chosen to participate in this project" said BRI Managing Director Mytch Jeffrey. "It strengthens our ties with Victoria and reinforces our reasons for expanding our operations to include a Melbourne office."
"The project is extensive and exciting - the sheer size of the development is difficult to grasp and the complexities associated with the multiple stakeholders involved requires intensive consultation and analysis as part of the risk management process" he said.
"This is yet another large-scale government and commercial infrastructure project for us in the transport and railways arenas. Our company consulted extensively to the New South Wales Government as part of the Central Station redevelopment, as well as being one of the principal consultants in CCTV camera design throughout the Sydney metropolitan railway network, which involved over 250 railway stations."
