INSYNERGY WINS MAJOR PUBLIC LIABILITY SOFTWARE TENDER
After nearly two years of tendering and negotiation, InSynergy has been selected by Westfield Limited to manage the organisation’s public liability incidents throughout Australia. The agreement was signed between Westfield and Business Protection Systems (BRI's sister company) on Christmas Eve.
This major project involves the design and development of a totally integrated software solution on behalf of Westfield’s Risk Management division.
Mytch Jeffrey, BPS Managing Director, announced, “We had to go through a rigorous tendering process and compete against a major Australian and overseas software and insurance company to win the tender. Westfield was very particular in relation to their needs and system performance”.
“The fact that InSynergy is currently used across Westfield’s 30 shopping centres throughout Australia demonstrates the benefits that our software system brings to organisations particularly in light of sky-rocketing insurance premiums”.
The new development will bring significant flexibility to the user, increased graphics and advanced intelligent processing to record the many types of public liability incidents that confront an organisation. The new “intelligent Incident Wizard” will step the user through each type of incident so that all information is captured accurately yet quickly. The system will interface with both Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes.
The project (which will be integrated into the latest InSynergy version) is due for completion mid 2003.
The Westfield project coincides with the release of the new “web enabled” version (V4) of InSynergy as well as the implementation of a powerful Claims Management Module.
Mytch said, “These developments will significantly improve our ability to not only manage incidents but also insurance claims and claim processing on behalf of our clients in a web environment”.
